The 2013 FLHRC Road King® Classic showcases new paint color options and retains the classic styling that Harley-Davidson enthusiasts love, combined with performance and modern features. This model is equipped with a rubber-mounted Twin Cam 103™ V-Twin engine, featuring Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI), heated O2 sensors, and Electronic Throttle Control (ETC). This reliable powertrain is black powder-coated and accented with chrome covers, ensuring durability and a classic look.
The Road King® Classic also features a chrome 2-1-2 dual exhaust system with slash-up end caps, chrome steel laced wheels, and wide whitewall tires. As an option, a Tubeless Chrome Aluminum Profile Laced wheel is available. Additionally, the nostalgic chrome fuel tank console is fitted with an electronic speedometer. The model includes a deep FL front fender with trim, a clean rear fender with deluxe trim, and stainless steel ergonomic handlebars.
Riders will appreciate the one-piece, two-up Road King® seat, adorned with tooled leather trim and chrome accents, as well as the clear, large quick-release detachable windshield. The model is also equipped with leather-wrapped hard saddlebags that offer 1.85 cubic feet of volume for storage, a large Hiawatha headlight with chrome nacelle, auxiliary passing lights, and electronic cruise control.
Key Features
The Road King® Classic builds on the nostalgic look of the standard Road King® by adding leather-wrapped saddlebags, a chrome fuel tank console, and tooled metal detailing on the fender, tank, seat, and bags. Chrome-laced wheels with wide whitewall tires enhance the model’s vintage appeal. Under the classic styling, the bike houses a powerful 1690 cc Twin Cam 103™ engine with an integrated oil cooler. The model also features Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and a Smart Security System as factory-installed options. Standard features include electronic cruise control, which, along with its heritage-inspired design, makes the Road King® Classic a blend of tradition and modern touring capabilities.
Further performance highlights include a 6-speed Cruise Drive® transmission with an integrated Isolated Drive System (IDS) for smooth operation, Dunlop® “Multi-Tread” rear tire construction for extended tire life by 25%, Brembo® 4-piston front and rear calipers with a dual front rotor brake system, and air-adjustable rear shocks. Full-length rider footboards and height-adjustable passenger footboards ensure comfort during long rides. The Road King® Classic also includes a six-gallon fuel tank for extended touring range.
