2014–2015 Harley-Davidson Softail CVO Twin Cam 110 (FLSTNSE CVO Deluxe)

What set the CVO model apart were its exclusive, intricate paint jobs. For 2014, the motorcycle was offered in three striking, multi-layered color schemes:
Candy Cobalt and Twilight Blue with Real Smoke Graphics
Maple Metallic and Atomic Orange with Airflow Graphics
Crimson Red Sunglo and Scarlet Lace with Hammered Sterling Graphics

For 2015, two new color options were introduced:
Bermuda Blue and Stardust Silver with Airflow Graphics
Black Crystal and Dark Crystal with Airflow Graphics

These finishes involved extensive manual labor, including hand-laid graphics and multiple layers of paint and clear coat. The motorcycle was also adorned with an abundance of chrome and components from Harley-Davidson’s “Airflow” collection, including rider footboards, brake pedal pad, shifter pegs, and hand grips.

The CVO Twin Cam 110 Powertrain

At the heart of the 2014–2015 CVO Softail Deluxe is the Screamin’ Eagle Twin Cam 110B engine. This air-cooled, 45-degree V-Twin has a displacement of 110 cubic inches (1803cc) and is counter-balanced (indicated by the “B” in its name) to reduce engine vibration, providing a smoother ride. The engine is paired with a high-flow “Ventilator” air intake and a 6-Speed Cruise Drive transmission, allowing for relaxed highway cruising. This powertrain produced a claimed peak torque of 110 ft-lb, offering significant and immediate power across the RPM range.

Chassis, Features, and Equipment

The FLSTNSE CVO Deluxe was designed to be both a stylish solo cruiser and a capable two-up touring machine. It came equipped with a host of features that enhanced its versatility and rider comfort. Standard equipment included a low-profile, detachable windshield that could be removed or installed without tools. It also featured matching leather-covered, lockable, and removable saddlebags, allowing for convenient storage for longer trips.

The seating arrangement was also versatile, featuring a low-slung solo seat that could be augmented with a matching detachable passenger pillion. This allowed the rider to quickly switch from a sleek, solo look to a two-up configuration. For safety and convenience, Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS), an factory-installed security system with a keyless ignition fob, and electronic cruise control were all included as standard equipment. Lighting was provided by a Daymaker LED headlight and fog lamps, offering superior visibility compared to traditional halogen units.
