THE SPEEDPLUS 1250CC V-TWIN
A next generation Scout calls for a next generation engine. The flat torque curve delivers exhilarating seat-of-the-pants acceleration unleashing a distinctive V-Twin sound. Electronic fuel injection provides balanced throttle control through crisp and consistent fueling. A responsive 6-speed transmission transfers that power everywhere with great acceleration, and smooth operation to pass any time. Coupled with a new slipper assist clutch, shift effort is lighter than ever. Keeping tabs on regular maintenance is simple with an all-new engine oil sight glass.
BALANCED PERFORMANCE
The new SpeedPlus 1250 builds on Scout’s unmatched reputation of delivering the perfect balance of power and control. The all-new engine features a 11% increase in power and 14% increase in torque, while maintaining its easy to ride character. With 105 HP on the Scout Classic, Scout Bobber, Sport Scout, and Super models, and 111 HP on the 101 Scout.
